It’s not the boys, but the girls you see
They’re the ones who bully me
Your clothes don’t match
Your hair is thatch
On me constantly

It’s not the boys, but the girls you see
They’re the ones who bully me
Your clothes don’t match
Your hair is thatch
On me constantly

They’re in a bunch
Steal my lunch
In their evil way
Text my friends and enemies
Saying that I’m gay

Is this about
That I don’t hang out
Gossip and act mean
Do my best on all my tests
And have some future dreams

Perhaps it’s just that puberty
Has set them all on edge
They’re unprepared
And they’re scared
Of what may lie ahead

Fortunately I have my rhymes
And my sanity
Bookends
And a few good friends
Save the day for me
