Ebony With A Splash Of Red

I’m really not feeling it today,

unless it’s despair that I’m searching for.

The darkest corner in the blackest room;

that’s where I want to be,

for I’ve got it in mind to get a tattoo.

No ink for me, no needles,

but I’ll take the razor blade

and hold it firmly, carefully

and I’ll etch in my skin the word:

Unlike ink the scars won't fade

and it's almost like a work of art -

ebony with just a splash of red.

Hi, Derina. I like your new profile pic. Yesterday was kind of bad... and I think this was the only thing I wrote.
