Burdened by ghosts and haunted memories
The nostalgia is nauseating
But your voice echoes through the night
Healing waters fill the chasms and smooth out the rocky facade
Over time the edges fade,
And what was once a hollow soul
Becomes whole again
To face the light of another day
Love warm like the stream of sunlight upon your face
I reach out my hands
Searching for someone to embrace
Grains of sand slipping through my cold fingers
To create another shore.

Thanks I will! I’d also like it if you can check out my works too. I tried to make my last entry a bit like yours with a cool kind of ending line and would like some HONEST feedback on it
