Umm...whatever

E=MC2

There is some special spark

Within each of us

That makes you YOU

And makes me ME

Some equation

In the mathematics

Of the universe

That grants us

Our individuality

Einstein says

You cannot create

Nor destroy energy

So when we cease being

Where does that spark go

Therein is faith tied to science

Asking questions

Whose answers we’ll never know

I really liked your poem. It was quite sweet, in the almost fateful way these two must be joined in the equation. The end was very interesting too; what happens to the formula when they are no more.

The energy continues as it always has and always will. Whether there are an endless number of parallel universes working out every possible variation of every lifetime, or whether we choose our next incarnation through disposition and probability, or whether..,something else. Love is energy and energy is eternal. Or something.
