Courage isn't just a feeling,
That sends an enemy reeling.
Instead, it is a stance we take,
When opposition we must break.
Indifference to all injustices,
Gives voice to our silences.
A lions strength is brave and proud,
Knowing that he stands his ground.
When those whos hatred has encroached,
We must rise up with our reproach.
Being lion hearted is the only salvation,
To those with will to destroy a nation.
So stand up, stare them down and see,
The cowardice that makes them flee.
Goodness and love are such graceful things,
But bolstered with strength, an immovable ring,
That surrounds the just in happenstance,
And brings the revels, where we dance.

Gloria Dale
I enjoyed your poem, Dewey green. Just want point out a simple spelling correction: the word indifference is with two "F"s.
