Into the pale I walked.

Synthetic whispers calling me toward that place.

Where ice would break beneath my feet.

Each step I took led me further to decay.

My body withered where my mind found play.

The flashing lights in the white of my eyes,

Turned to black. Red in that pale place.

I found no purpose, but time soon spent.

Idle in the pale I walked.

Idle in the pale I walked.

Idle in the pale I walked.

Idle in the pale I walked.

Idle in the pale I walked.

My ‘I’ forever warped.
