I can't stop myself from watching him. He comes in every other day, orders the same items of a tossed salad with grilled chicken, a light vinaigrette dressing on the side and a banana. He then takes it to an empty table, eats it, then remains seated until he no longer looks green. I have a same pattern too. It's serving this guy, then I continue with my cashier job at the eatery. But, I'm not just doing my job; from the side of my eye I'm watching him, that queasy fellow, and wondering the same thing that I always wonder.. 'Is the food making him sick?'

If it is, then why keep coming back here? Why order the same thing? Huh? So strange.

...

It's so funny to me, to go into an eatery and have a meal. I choose the same thing, then chow down while looking almost disturbed by it. I think of repulsive things, so that by the end of the meal I'm green. People think that crying dramatically while they eat is funny, they should try playing That Queasy Fellow. If you're lucky, you can get more than one person to feel concerned for you, bonus card, sometimes the bill is free if the place thinks that it's their fault.

On my way out I'm stopped the cashier who suddenly called out "Excuse me" as I passed the counter.

"Yeah?" Our eyes locked, and she briefly looked away before her pretty gaze returned with avengence.

"Are you alright?"

"Hm?" I play dumb.

"It's just that.. you come in here every other day, order the same thing, eat it, then you head into the bathroom.." her blue irises flicker towards the bathroom area. "Is the food perhaps making you sick?"

"Oh, no. Everything is delicious. I'm just.. self conscious about my body."
