What has my life come to?

I keep spinning a million times like a pile of laundry that never gets clean. The dirt is engraved in my bones like words leaving marks on a stone.

It all repeats itself, like a melody that keeps going over and over again.

My head’s in the clouds, up high away from what’s here.

I used to think I got kidnapped to a much darker world, but what if that’s where I truly belong? What if here; this earth, isn’t where I’m supposed to be.

Life’s become so grey lately. My poor eyes forgot how colors look like.

My heart is calm like a storm resting after shattering every surface it came across. There's nothing more to shatter. All the trees died like a giant losing battels.

If only things were clearer. I could’ve found a way out, could’ve seen a road; leading to what’s beyond.

Life is death and death is life; an irony that holds us hostage every day.
