The mid-morning sun illuminates the white hairs of an elderly woman who is giving directions to a passenger trying to find his train.

Lucy smiles up to the ceiling, reminiscing about the old days when she and her partner Esmarelda would fleece the businessmen in this very station.

“That's him, the one talking to that old woman with the train schedule.” she says back to Ralph.

As they approach the platform the clacking of heels on marble, reverberating much like artificial rain, and the sun beaming through the skylight made Lucy hopeful for a rainbow. Well... not so much for a rainbow as what is at the end of it.

Once in their seats Ralph asks, “Did you see which car the mark got on?”

“Of course, he's two behind us and the car after that is the dining car, providing me the perfect excuse to pay him a visit on my way.”

“You'll get paid once the case is in my possession and get it before the 3rd stop. That's where we part ways.”

The train pulls away from the station and soon the city disappears and farmlands are all that can be seen.

Lucy finishes touching up her lipstick and heads towards the dining car with Ralph's decoy briefcase in tow. She passes the mark's seat and flashes him a smile when he glances at her. In the dining car she orders a cup of coffee and makes her way back to the seat of the mark. She waits for the train to shimmy once again and spills her coffee on them both. He asks if she is all right.

“Oh clumsy me. I'm fine. You wouldn't happen to have a napkin or something would you? I got it all over my blouse!” Hamming it up, Lucy leans ever so slightly towards him.

“Of course. Here.” he hands her his kerchief.

“Thank you,” Lucy replies, stealthily sliding her case next to his. “Ah, much better. Thanks again,” she bends to grab the briefcase and with him distracted grabs his handle instead.

As she leaves the train car with the stolen case, Lucy sees the old woman walking towards her with another identical briefcase. They swap cases in passing and Lucy returns to Ralph.

Taking the window seat Lucy says, “Here you are. My payment?”

Ralph fake grimaces, “Ooo, sorry this is my stop. We'll be in touch.” Ralph picks up the briefcase and walks to the exit as the breaks begin to squeal on approach to the station.

When the train departs Lucy walks back to the dining car and sits down at a table with the white haired woman.

“Great job putting together that case, Es. We'll be long gone by the time they realize the bills are fakes.”

Esmarelda replies, “So where to? The Bahamas?”

“It's your turn to pick.” Lucy smiles.

“Yes, the Bahamas, I think.” Esmarelda smiles too.
