In Dreamland
Tossed away, abandoned
or dropped by accident
this teddy has to wonder
just where it’s owner went.
Left to lie there on the grass
with daisies all around,
it could not call out for some help,
it’s sadness was profound.
The teddy then just closed it’s eyes,
fell in a dream-filled sleep,
where fantasy could reign supreme
in slumber sound and deep.
Better to just drift away,
rest there upon the ground,
the bear exists in dreamland -
at least until it’s found.

Nice job, Hull
