I Miss,

cities that I have never visited,

the books I have never read,

the hearts I have never broken,

the tears I have never shed

the memories I never had.

I Crave,

for the love I never got,

the thoughts I never had,

the lips I never kissed,

the smiles I never showed,

and the person I never was.

I really enjoyed your poem, it had a lot of strength and impact. The repetition worked really well and added a lot more emphasis. It was a great poem. Sometimes we look at the things in life we don't have, but there's always things in our life that we can be amazed at having done.
