“Here's an interesting form of murder we came up with: assassination. You know what's interesting about assassination? Well, not only does it change those popularity polls in a big fucking hurry, but it's also interesting to notice who it is we assassinate. Did you ever notice who it is? Stop to think who it is we kill? It's always people who've told us to live together in harmony and try to love one another. Jesus, Gandhi, Lincoln, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, John Lennon, they all said, "Try to live together peacefully." BAM! Right in the fucking head. Apparently we're not ready for that.”

I am human, a guardian protector.

Once, there lived in secrecy, a feathery winged cat. This feline on some occasions since birth, had tendencies to fly away for days, leaving me its guardian to wonder if it would ever come back.

A Pegasus so cute in itsbirth, that the name "Sphinx" couldn't be ignored.

"My tiger striped lioness, my winged feline companion, my now returned friend; tell me a story, sing to me of all the places you have traveled, where you have been," I asked into its omniferous almond eyes, brushing back its furry feathered wings.

It seemed as if its soul had passed forth from its gaze into my own as I, its guardian listened intently; then it finally spoke:

"I drank from the Nile's edge, with lapping sand paper tongue, as I saw in my reflection, something in the sky above. So, I flew up and ate it; as I sunk my teeth into its skin, its writhing torso explaining how it was just an angel, not a bird of feast. Though, it was much too late, my jaws already around its neck."

"I forgive you. I saved my last words for you; I love you."

This is so surreal, almost mythological in style and so descriptive. Beautiful work!
