This poem is an inside cry or confession to her love that she feels has lost love for her.

Defending? Let's talk defending; for if it's me encountered your no where to be found. Let's talk motivation for if that's just the key please help me. What if I just needed to cry yet, at the same time still by your side. So when do I cry ? It's when I'm defending you ? Making myself a believer so I can focus on lifting you. Is that motivation? The key I seek, yet not once there was no thought of motivating me. I'm dead; I still can't sleep but betrayal was once the key to setting me free. So there was never the thought of vanishing on me until all of the sudden there was too much to drink. Deceived me and not one word did I speak.
