Tread Softly

Tread softly

for the ground is littered

with fallen leaves;

no longer part of the tallest trees

but instead converted

to become a resting place

for fae to lay their weary heads.

I love writings about the fae; whether it be fairy-tales, or research information. I really love the concept you’ve created here with the leaves, it’s definitely something I’ll be keeping in mind from now on!
