Just One More Go

She looks and asks

‘Just one more go?’

No need, she knows

Just what to show.

She gets her way

With a knowing smile,

An unspoken threat

Of imminent denial.

Lessons learned

Along the way,

Of what to show

And what to say.

It’s in her court

She owns it all,

A look to entice

Or promise to fall.

She knows she’ll get

Just one more go,

Or even more

If more she show.
