I wrote this as a ditty medieval soldiers sing on their way home from victory in a story of mine.

Home Again

Home again we go!

Where our dreams started to grow.

Travel the world all around

Whether lost, or found,

Let your last quest be homeward bound.

Home again we came...

We never come back the same.

Whether evil, or good

There’s a time when you should,

Come home from the mountains, or wood.

Home again at last!

When all that's happened is past.

Right now is what’s true

So mind what you do,

And see what lies home for you.

Why, thank you, Prince El, I much appreciate it. Yes, and I cannot wait for our final homecoming.

A lovely write, Gloria. Really captures the scene of returning soldiers.
