Are you young or old?

While I was young,

I cared about hero, more than the villain

And, now I'm old,

I care about villain, more than the hero.

While I was young,

I cared about beauty, more than the intellect

And, now I'm old,

I care about intellect, more than the beauty.

While I was young,

I cared about friends, more than foes

And, now I'm old,

I care about foes, more than friends.

While I was young,

I cared about life, more than death

And, now I'm old,

I care about death, more than life.

And, now I'm dead,

I'm neither young nor old.

Can't argue with the logic in this. A well-written piece of poetry.
