The peace in the pandemic

Artificial growth, a flower birthed from the womb of a gun,

The peace in the pandemic, smile shining through the surgical mask.

Spreading happiness naturally, not from the bottom of a flask,

One shot heard round the world, more akin to the fireworks on the fourth.

This is such a bright message, Nik. We all need a bit of motivation during these trying times. I hope you've been doing well and taking care.

On the face of it, this seems to be a positive poem, apart from that last line. The 'one shot' seems to change the entire tone. Stay safe, MW.
