Of creative thought...

dark shelter, cool quiet space

entering hermits refuge

no sound, no sight appears wanted

voices echo as memories lost

cavernous thought embraces

twisting turns lead into unkown

dread filled joy, creative nightmare

this place of cautious desire

deeper black, brighter still

minds reality existing to be explored

disruptive harmony as willed.

I remember years ago when I would describe my mind like in your poem, but I think yours is much better than mine. I didn't even think mine was publish-worthy. Keep writing, Berry!
