For Pagans...the Time of Light Begins...

A time of Pagan celebration and ritual, Betltane has been honored for centuries in ancient and modern Europe where it began among the pre-Christian Celts.

Among Pagans, it is considered to be one of the two most highly acknowledged and celebrated days of the Earths yearly cycle( the other being Samhain).

Beginning on the evening of April 30th and continuing on through May 1st,  it is also part of the tradition known as May Day. Beltane marks the start of what is called 'Light Half of the Year,' it is the time of full Spring and Summer when Natures shows us its flowering bounty.

Some believe Beltane has its origins in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, where agricultural ritual was performed to ensure crop fertility.

Beltane begins the six month 'Sun' period of experiencing the seasonal warmth of the Earth; it's a space in reality where Pagans are thankful  for what nature provides.

It is a joyful time of creation where spiritual growth can be met by seeking and keeping the beauty of the natural worldin mind.

 BLOSSOM OF SPRING

 LOST IN WINTER

 RE-APPEAR AS MAGIC

 CONSTANT CREATIVE

 MEET LIGHT HEART

 AGAIN...
