All that work you put off catches up with you eventually.

I'm drowning in work, everything crashing in,
So I try to look calm, but screams stream from within,
'Cause I put it all off and it's all piling up,
All my brain cells are dying, my mind's riling up.
Made too many promises I cannot keep.
The river of cortisol's now flowing deep.
Can't keep up with myself, can't keep going this pace,
But now everything's due; to get done is a race.
Some people depend on me doing this stuff,
But from procrastination, completion is tough.
Only got twelve hours to finish some more.
In that time I'll complete what should take twenty-four.
And I had two whole weeks to get up off my ass,
But I'm still in my seat watching deadlines fly past.
Time has caught up with me, snuck past and laughed,
Slapping me in the face with this work in a stack.

Yikes.. Nice Work. I can admit this has happened to me at least once or twice.
