I’ve fallen in love with your soul. I was on a flight back to NY from Berlin when the world shut down and you’ve welcomed me into your home as a provider and protector. I see the deepest parts of who you are, who you have been and what you want to be. I’ve fallen in love with you because I see those same parts in me with no separation. We all make mistakes, we all do things we wish we hadn’t, we all hurt people who love us the most. I’ve fallen in love with you without a choice and kept trying to run away. I think you were running away also because love is scary. Love has the power to make or break us. Please don’t break me, please see me as a part of you because that’s what lovers do. The possibility of you loving another breaks my heart but I sense that you do. The other lover stuck at home waiting for my man “The sound of his voice in my ears makes me want to rip his clothes off right here. The way his lips press against mine as we meet for the last time. I’ve been missing him for months but seems like he’s gotten with his old flame. She says that he’s her soulmate.” I have been running away from myself seeking love for another when I should really be loving myself. True love is unbreakable so if we are broken, we weren’t meant for this. Thank you for the journey. The doors of time are like a train passing through each station. Some people get on, some people get off, but all of us are always in transit wether it’s into or out of this world or in and out of each other’s lives. His life is his own, my life is mine, and I’ve loved all the beautiful memories within the sands of time.
