These are five haikus (haiku?) on the seasons, written while I was in New Zealand- enjoy!

Four Seasons

Summer is the first

Eager to share her beauty

But taking her time

Next up is Autumn

A swirl of brown and red leaves

and drizzly mornings

Winter comes too soon

Snow for some, but mostly rain

A whirlwind of frost

Crimson seeds of Spring

A light breeze, butterfly rain

Spring is here at last

Then Summer returns

The process of life repeats

And life can go on.
