i am aware of the sloppy writing but i want to improve feedback is really apricated.

Solider stands alone, no comrade by his side expect a subtle breeze.

The uniform lost its meaning, but the scars run deep.

His feet still sore from his journey home, not his home.

He takes a knee by his fallen friend, his candle, apathetic rock for a headstone.

The dead at peace but the living left to suffer in their grief and anger.

A curse of life after death.

After war.

A bright candle flickering in a dark world, till the wick is done and the wax is gone.
