a little song/poem going through my head currently.

With a beaming face and a lovely laugh,

You won't know she's holding back.

A lonely girl with a broken heart,

struggling to fix her parts.

Forced smile, wet eyes,

Bruised wrists, scarred thighs.

She smiles throughout the day,

because she knows how to push her pain away.

With no one to care about her tears,

Alone, she faces her biggest fears.

The girl you see,

Has given up already.

So many masks. A very haunting piece of work.

I don't need a mask. I remain grumpy all day long. I just try to avoid people, except when I purchase whisky and tobacco, and food. Hell is other people, I once heard.
