The spirit of God gave me a self reassessment question as I was meditating on the above scripture he said "What is it that you hope for?" He even went further and gave me advice on what I must do while I pray because he is also my counselor. He said "Imagine what you hope for as you pray. That's applying your faith." This piece was completely inspired by the Holy Spirit.I know you’ll be inspired

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

Hebrews 11: 1.

The spirit of God gave  me a self reassessment question as I was meditating on the above scripture he said "What is it that you hope for?" He even went further and gave me advice on what I must do while I pray because he is also my counselor. He said "Imagine what you hope for as you pray. That's applying your faith."

You may have  discovered at some point during prayer you may have lost focus. Maybe you got distracted or perhaps you started to think of something else as you were praying. Thoughts of what happened or what you would do after you were done praying or maybe you could feel the impatience come in as you we're praying so you could go finish a task or obey your body so you could sleep simply because praying before sleeping became essential or better yet habitual for you and now all you do is hurriedly throw afew words together and then you go to sleep without actually placing images of what you hoped for in mind as you prayed.

You might be saying "Well I'm just going to sleep, What image am I supposed to create before going to bed?" I'll tell you! As you pray you could create images of your day and how blessed it will be or better yet an image of you about to sleep in your beautiful new home.

The Bible says in

John 4:24

"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

There has never been a limit as to how far the human mind can go to create in terms of mental imagery.

If I said imagine a chicken wearing black boots. That may perplexe the mind but the moment that you read it your mind may have imagined exactly what I said. Your mind could even go as far as imagining things that may be thought to be unthinkable or unattainable. Things not of this world, that's just to show you that your creative ability is in your imaginative power.

What more constantly creating positive images of what you were hoping for to change.

Maybe you have a friend or a relative who is suffering from an illness. So as you pray you're to imagine them being healed, them running, dancing or laughing. Instead of crying for their health in prayer you could actually smile as you pray or even laugh because there is so much power in prayer and prayer is your weapon.

1st  Corinthians 13 vs 13

"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love." As we pray we are to put all these in prayer. Faith, Hope and Love.

So what is it that you hope for? Am pretty sure you're thinking of what  you hope for now? Maybe you thought you hoped for a lot of things and after reading the question you realized maybe you didn't hope for much. Fortunately there is no limit as to how much a person may hope for. There are so many things we hope for in each and every area of our lives. In our education, relationships, marriages, careers and the list goes on.

I’ve heard some people say all they had was hope but the truth is faith, hope and love go together. Some people have taken away their lives because they lost hope had they known faith and love went with it they wouldn't have. For if you loved someone you wouldn't take away your life because that would hurt them, given some studies on some suicidal individuals it shows that they may have wanted to take away their own lives because they thought they were doing their loved ones a favor.

The Bible says in

Hosea 4:6-12

"My people perish due to the lack of knowledge"

Had they known what Love was they would have known that it went together with faith and hope. They would have gone further to discover that of the three, love was greater.

Fortunately here you are, you're not reading this by accident. Because Love is a strong word. "The greatest of Faith, Love and Hope is Love." And Love is LIVING and ACTIVE, Love is powerful, Love was the beginning, The first and the last. Love is the way, the truth and the life. Love became the word of God made flesh. Love came to die for you, the whole entire world and myself included. Love resurrected. Jesus is Love.

So begin to imagine what you hope for because that is faith. Pray with love knowing who exactly love is and that’s Jesus.
