I've never been scared of ghosts.

Phantoms, Spectres and Ghosts.

Maybe it’s paranoia,

but I swear,

I swear...

that someone’s attempting to

mess with my mind.

Phantoms flickering

in peripheral vision,

spectres crawling

across the screen.

Perhaps there’s some sound effects,

some wails or some whispers -

my laptop,

it’s muted

and I’m entirely oblivious.

But...

and here’s the main point of this poem-

the living are far more scary

than the dead will ever be;

I’m NOT,

and never have been

afraid of ghosts.

I ain't afraid of no ghosts, Kossettes. There's a true story behind this, too long to go into here.
Thanks for reading.
