Things I wish for, duh!

I wish I could go back and not look like an uptight deer, caught in the headlights of an onrushing semi, singing in our band

I wish we had a president who checked even one of the boxes

I wish I was a man who keeps it together during stress

I wish the Mariners could play in the world series

I wish there WAS baseball

I wish I could land a book deal

I wish I could write more than 'the end'

I wish I could think of more I wishes

I wish that wishes were rainbows, then I'd have a pot of gold; but then again, on my way to the bank to deposit it, I'd probably be robbed by a crazed morphine fiend wearing an 'I'm With Stupid' tee shirt who'd turn around and blow it on drugs, and not take food home to his long-suffering wife and five filthy children who all wish daddy wasn't a drug-addled dick; so it's probably for the best if wishes weren't rainbows; forget the last one!

Not quite my wishes, although some would be similar. Nice one, Mike.
