We are Just Memories

We are born to die,

At sometime we understand,

No matter how we try,

To be best me on this land.

All of the lives we come across,

Belonging to webs from before,

Men, women, children and animals too,

Are here to open the door.

Teachers continuously visit us,

Belonging to the classroom of the world,

Our opportunity is to learn,

All though sometimes we get burned.

Once burnt, twice wise we are told,

Through out our existance, this comes into play,

Some get it and some don't,

For others it seeps in when their old.

Our legacy of things we do and say,

Are more important than we know,

Each permeates for better or worse,

Unfortunately much is our lifes curse.

The choice is ours and nobody elses,

We decide what happens,

Somethings are out of our control,

What do we do, blame it on a troll?

And if we did, Where would that take us?

Our actions define who we are,

Our voice establishes our presence;

With that being said, whats the fuss?

When we pass,

What is left?

Memories for many,

Our job is to make them sweet and plenty
