Why won't you go away? Don't you see that I'm trying every remedy to get rid of you? Of course, you laugh and taunt me hiding somewhere in my tooth or gums. Oh hello, the audience! Don't mind me, I'm just in some annoying pain that won't give me peace.

I used to think that headaches were the worst pain you could cope with your body. Ice pick headaches, in particular, make you want to stay inside your head to let the pain come out of your head.

I'm starting to disagree with that thought. Ever since I had my first toothache, I quickly forgot about my headache blues that I've had in the past. This latest toothache came out of nowhere. It started off slowly. A little throbbing, but nothing to lose sleepover. I thought it would go away in a few hours. Boy was I wrong. The next day, the toothache exploded with a vengeance. This isn't good. I'm panicking trying to figure out what to do next. Help! Please?

Let's try brushing my teeth around the area where it hurts the most. I brush like my life depends on it. Ah! The brushing feels so good. The pain is going away slowly. This could be it. I defeated the toothache (so I thought). It's bedtime, time to get some rest.

I lay down feeling at peace. A few minutes later, the pain in my mouth returns. NO! I toss and turn hoping that it'll leave me be to no avail. This continues throughout the morning. I honestly can't remember if I went to sleep or not.

The toothache won. Toothaches can cause headaches too. Those little killers can cause you to go insane. The pain makes you want to pull out your teeth/gums just to make you feel like you did something with that pain spot. Any little flare-up you feel in your mouth makes you worry that the toothache may return.

Sometimes, using mouthwash can kill a toothache. Flossing is recommended too. Floss floss floss. I fell off on flossing, perhaps that gave room for this toothache to sneak up on me.

This monster must be stopped. But how? I've gonna have to do the unthinkable. Go see a dentist. Those movie scenes where a person would go to extreme measures to pull out teeth. I understand now, I totally get it now.
