Because I go to places where time travel doesn't exist yet, one thing you don't want is getting caught...

I have no idea what to do. Of course, we are taught what to do and how to act, if what has happened to me happens, but the classes to deal with this sort of thing aren't anything like the real thing.

I've been picked up for driving erratically. In 2620 there are no cars; so it's little wonder really. We have no need for them. The human population in 2620 is around eighteen thousand. Nobody travels; the Earth hasn’t recovered yet from all the biological warfare set upon it on 4th July 2020.

The eighteen thousand are made up primarily of scientists like me. Bending time become possible in 2530, we've had it for nearly ninety years. And for ninety years, we have been trying to discover what made the Chinese nation attack the American nation; neither of which exists anymore by the way.

Thirty-nine time travellers have gone back to various historical points believed to be the 'zero' point, to no avail; hence my trip.

2020 June 2nd.

Although very sketchy, the then American president, is believed to have tweeted (which was a form of primitive communication at that time) a discourteous and rather insulting tweet (message) to the then head of the Chinese nation. The tweet was made at 22:56…

I'm here to stop that tweet from taking place. Not by killing anyone, but by causing a diversion at 22:50 by driving a car into a building called, The White House. As long as that tweet doesn't get sent at the precise moment it was sent in history, then that will be enough to change history.

Unfortunately, I find myself being detained by something called, the Police. I have two hours and five minutes to get out of here. If I don’t, then the 4th of July 2020 will happen, and they will have to send another one like me.
