Status: Finished  |  Genre: Romance  |  House: Booksie Classic

A personal poem.

It’s unfair

To find someone to connect with on a level I’ve yet to experience

To feel I fit like a glove

With a mind so similar

And have to pull away, respectfully

To accept what is

It’s unfair

But it’s my curse

My unidentified karma

My heart will always belong with persons

Whose hearts don’t belong with me

So I press on

Watching others find their matches

And sail off to places I’ve only dreamed

As I continue to empty water out of sinking ships
