All she wanted was a brighter future...I disappointed her.

“I’m sorry, I’m not the father figure you wanted me to be.

I’m sorry, that I was an embarrassment in front of your friends

I’m sorry, for not have a perfect job that payed will.

I wasn’t able to buy the things you wished for.

I’m sorry I called you several times to make sure you’re safe.

I’m sorry, that I texted you even though you told me I’m a bother.

I’m sorry, I didn’t take you on vacation because I didn’t have enough money.

I’m sorry, that my cooking isn’t good enough.

I’m sorry, for falling asleep and not doing the chores.

I’m sorry, I didn’t throw a big birthday party for you.

I’m sorry, I didn’t visit her grave.

I’m sorry, that your mother died and it wasn’t me.

I missed her too.

I promised to raised you with a smile.

I failed.

My beautiful daughter I wish I was good enough.

I love you unconditionally and never regretted having you.

You brought a smile upon my face as I watched you grow up.

Daddy will work hard nonstop and do what ever he can to make you happy.

One day I’ll watch you walk down the aisle as I point and yell that’s my beautiful daughter.

I can’t wait to have a grandchild to tell him the stories of how you were a cheesy child.

I love you.

I’ll write again. “

Those were the last words father wrote in his diary before he passed away without anyone by his side.
