Some people think that reverse psychology is the effective way of teaching a child, but sometimes that method can be taken too far.

To Make Me

To make me wise

You were naive,

You locked me in

So I would leave.

Back then, you'd cry

To make me strong

To comfort you

About the wrong.

To make me true

You'd tell a lie.

So I would live,

You had to die.

O' little faith

In me you had,

To think that I

Longed to be bad

To make yourself

What I could be,

If tread the road —

Iniquity.

Why did you think

I would rebel

If you chose Heav'n,

I'd choose hell?

I would follow

The narrow way

If you followed

Or went astray.

Don't say your cross

Was caused by me.

You chose your path

In vanity.

Thanks, Prince El! It's been awhile since I last posted. So I thought it was about time again.
