'Why did you leave me?' It is not an easy question to answer, is it?

When The Wind Blows

A wind is blowing its whistle and chasing a fleeing leaf.

The wind howls, 'Why did you leave me?'

The leaf raises higher into the sky, leaving only silence behind.

The wind halts and smacks the tree with its blow, 'Why did you let go of that leaf?'

The sky sighs and cries.

For the shriveling sight of a heavy shower of falling leaves.

I am not sure whether this is a story or poetry,Derina, but you are making beautiful use of words to create a picture.

I think it is a story as no rhymes in there. But either which I don't care or know any more as far as my own writing's concern. I write what come to me at the time and whatever image I choose to use to convey a message. Short writing suits me. So I write poetry more. I like the bikini style writing- using as less words as possible to reveal a bigger scale of meaning. Sometime I would just write the title and that is it. But I think it is too "nude", so I put something there. This story's title was meant to be "Shame". But I changed it to a more poetic title. Maybe that is why you can't tell which is which?
Thank you for reading! : )
