a poem to discuss how the seasons of the year can be like life.

Like winter, Like life

It’s wet, its cold,

Not many people

Enjoy it,

But it has to

Happen

At the end of the year,

Once all the leaves of

The trees have

Fallen

Once ‘pumpkin time’ is

Over, After summer

And spring, after

Autumn and is

Winter

It has to happen,

But it can be used

For good, As a reminder,

Even

The cold puts everything

Asleep, The wet freshens

Everything up in time

For a new year

Winter and other seasons

Can be a reminder of

Some parts of life

The darkness, the

Coldness and the wet,

Are like the bad parts

Of life

But then summer comes

Getting rid of all the dark,

The cold and wet, the light and warmth

Arrives

Just like the good parts

Of life, coming after

The bad

So, it’s all like life,

Not just in the seasons,

Not just in the people
