You are you and here you are, the same man as you were before, spineless, boneless, unable to speak. Does your reflection still speak to you? Yes, it does. It tells you that you still do not have the guts to live life on your own terms. You are a gutless man, terrified of what will happen if you stop walking the tightrope. You will fall gracefully into a pit of fire, but at least you will burn on your own terms instead of walking a line that has already been laid before you. Yet you will never have the courage to take the plunge. Instead, your entire life will be a balancing act, and soon as you realize that you have disrupted the order, you will weep uncontrollably and let yourself fall into the hands of others. You are clay. You will mold into any shape society wants you to because you do not have a core. Or, you have spent so much time convincing yourself that you lack a voice that it has become easier to let others speak for you. It has become easier to be voiceless, gutless, a guru of compliance and obedience. You have come to believe that your opinions matter less than others. You belong to a reality wherein you do not recall what anchored you to life. And you never will because you seldom took the time to cultivate your soul. Your existence holds no meaning. You are only what others want you to be.
