FEMINISM

So, most of us may know feminism as an act of empowering women. It is right; feminism is a set of ideologies and movements that seek equality for women in social, political, economic and occupational spheres. It emboldens women to speak against brutal forms of discrimination, predominantly to the theories in their culture. Feminism ensures equal access for women in education, healthcare facilities and job opportunities. It is not that women can do jobs only in the sectors of nursing and teaching; but instead, they should have the same right to opt for jobs like that of a pilot, engineer and many more, and these occupations also guarantee self-respect for women. Furthermore, in feminism, women do not get exploited, and if they are being exploited, they are at liberty to speak up. Women have corroborated equality in all relationships, and the credit goes to feminism. But anti-feminists have a viewpoint that in feminism, women see themselves as a better gender and they choose to separate themselves from society - both personally and professionally. Feminism stands laudable for equality and eradication of gender discrimination in our society, but on the contrary, it should not make women a superior gender than men because the fight is for gender equality - not for gender superiority.
