Riddled with euphoria she stands.

Fearless of life on the concrete edge of a building. Some, down below assume the angel is drugged up she thinks she can fly.

But, displayed on her fragile skin is a soft, what they call 'smile'. Eyes clear and large from absorbing the pastel wash of clouds.

Her mind is almost blank, except for one sentence that has been on loop ever since she saw the world.

Feet firm, hands cool and clammy as they hang by her sides.

Fall.

Within seconds an empty fram falls.

People scatter at the bottom of the building, each of them gasp. Eyes following as the thick locks paint an abandoned tile floor.

There wasn't anyone inside the limp shell. No glow of life radiated nor a warm tinge to the skin.

Instead lay a forgotten master piece.

She flew with the angels above now, saved from the once ugly cruel world she walked upon for years.

I'm home now.
