Ian motioned for the waiter and sat down. He unbuttoned his stone gray kiton suit jacket and sat back in his chair.

"Yes, I'll have a whiskey neat and the lady will have..."

"She'll have a Manhattan."

"Very good sir," the waiter said excusing himself.

"Not a big drinker huh."

"You can tell?"

"Yea, I mean you've been nursing that Martini half the night."

"Half the night? How would you know, you just got here."

"How do you know?" Ian asked with a smirk.

"So you were just lurking in the corner somewhere watching me?" she teased.

"No. I was mingling but also waiting for you to become available."

"I was available."

"Alone," he said firmly.
