After a bit of a break to deal with the world, an experiment in some of the struggles of writing.

Eternal Struggle of the Poet’s Mind

In times of strife

it is with ease

that words pour from the mind,

the sorrow brings

the sweetest juice,

ferments the finest wine.

When happiness

does come and bloom,

the words all choose to flee,

awaiting when

the seasons change

brings back the misery.

There is quite a lot of truth to this. Maybe it has something to do with trying not to show the sorrow but to write it out instead.

88 fingers

Sometimes, the words scatter about in our minds. Trying to gather them to make sense is like a cowboy wrangling cattle.
