"Drowning"
Nobody heard the scream
Nobody noticed the pain
Nobody asked what happened
She was just there, sinking and drowning.
The girl who always listens, that’s what she is
The girl who only uses her pen and not her fist
The girl you would never think to be sunken
But open her room, there you can see her drowning.
You may see her waving in the sea
But you never see the rocks under her feet
Bleeding and shouting “save me” that’s her plea
But nobody harkens that she is drowning.
