The Coronavirus of 2019- 2020 was a time of sickness, social unrest and despair. Some of us found solace having more time to reinvent ourselves.

Waiting for a Vaccine for Covid19

How to stay safe,

Social distance and wear a mask,

Wash hands often,

Shelter in place.

At home, what is there to do?

Play games like cards, backgammon and chess,

Or maybe play pingpong and throw darts,

How about a drive to a lake for a barbecue?

No work or school,

You can relax.

Time to swim.

See you at the community pool.

Read an interesting book,

Or even some poems.

There is always Booksie.com,

Take a look.

Join a Zoom or Google Meet,

Catch up with relatives and friends,

Think of the importance of those relationships,

And you won't miss a beat.

Draw,

Type,

Write,

Make extra time for your favorite bite.

Cook,

Workout,

Kayak and fish.

Go to a park and throw some disks.

This pandemic,

Will soon be academic,

We all learned from 2020,

How to make time and create plenty.

Create,

Listen to tunes,

Prepare delicious foods,

Make time to meditate.

Things are so crazy it seems,

No work,

Social unrest,

Whether it be virtual or just a bad dream?
