DIGNITY

I once had a friend who sang

he was a choir all by himself

though he tried to hide it well

many heard words that truth rang

No way could I ever compare

his ministry and ways so unique

but he reached out to us all

to show how much he did care

He acted as though an every day man

disguised within generations and times

however, he was brave and stood apart

and was unafraid to take a stand

He spoke of truth but also the day

told stories throughout our youth

he warned us all of things to come

should in our filth we stay

There are still some out there who care

but not as many as before

today, we find it easy to stray

and many can be found there.

'Today we find it easy to stray'

Speaks volumes.
