Another poem through the eyes of another girl (maybe same one?) disguising herself as a male soldier.

No One Must Know

By: Lunita

As the rest of the world sleeps,

I take to my hair a shearer used for sheep

I must disguise who I am

For if found out, I would be a sham

I need to follow my dreams and what I feel is best

For I can’t sit idly by like all the rest

I will don men’s clothes to better hide myself

So I won’t be put on the highest shelf

I pick up my pistol and rifle

Knowing it would be trouble

I must act like the most manliest male

For no one must know that I am female
