A poem about the first night I met my sweet husband..

I met a man with talking eyes

the color of wet sand

They confidently rolled the ask

He gently took my hand

We hit the floor to "Caribbean Queen"

They smiled and danced the beat

They closed to "Whiter Shade Of Pale"

His hands were gently sweet

The music stopped; the lights came on;

he kissed me on the cheek.

I met a man and fell in love

We didn't even speak.
