A poem about age and living life as one gets older.

Beautifully transitioned

For some people it can be scary getting older.

But with age we definitely get wiser and stronger.

My life has taken on a new transition and my maturity has now flourished and is now a new part of what I have become.

A woman who has gained so much experience over the years, that she wonders for a minute where did the silly naive girl disappeared too.

My birthday has come and gone, which brought me closer to the grown folks era,

No longer a kid, I am part of every conversation, no limitations, and no removals.

I am the flower that still blooms, for each petal there is a rush of memories that has stained all corners so magnificently.

This flower has evolved into something beyond my imagination, that has made me so grand, so unforgettable.

God has been good to me and has adorned me with a precious gift called life.

The gift I never tried to take advantage of.

Life has made age look and feel so spectacular and I have lived beyond every point unimaginable.

I have seen things, been through things.

There will be tales waiting to be told long after I am gone.

I did the good, the bad and the ugly and learned from them, let me tell you.

It has made living so adventurous.

I am beautiful inside and out, and yes I have aged, their are signs on my body that attest to that and it's noticeable, but I have embraced it.

These are marks of all my life's awesome adventures. That I lived.

I became a grown up, an adult.

I gained wisdom, faced adversity from all angles and came out whole.

I became a woman, a woman who has aged beautifully.

Very wise words. I am so glad to see that you have such an awesome point of view about aging. Many of us should learn from this.
Great poem and wonderful message,

Thank you, yes there is nothing we can do about it so I think we should embrace it and make aging look good.
