this is a poem about self discovery

The Road

A poem by Edward Frank

Paths that lead east and west

Choose the route that is the best

Travel fast and travel far

To lead your way is a shining star

South will lead to Cajun delights

Or find your way to the northern lights

Whichever way you choose to go

Will surely be your choice you know

Paths in life are like many roads

The decisions you make, consequences are told

To make your way in the journey of life

You’ll need to be brave, and hold truth like a knife

Roads are made to be trod upon

The first steps you take, to walk-on
