The smirk's on every minute, it smirks around the clock,

The smirk masks insecurities, screaming replaces talk

The smirk seems to have its own T. V. network,

The smirk trumpets the arrival of a massive jerk

The smirk replaces knowledge, compassion and hope,

The smirk replaces patience, and hides the ability to cope

The smirk hides in shadows and is about to strike,

The smirk is his answer to questions he doesn't like,

Such as, 'Have you ever been wrong about anything, ever?"

He whips out his stock answer, a derisive, "no, never!"

The smirk won't take any shit, or histories commands,

Everyone ever is wrong, only he is right and understands

The smirk blows off the left and hears only the far right,

He wears a miner's lamp as he leads all into eternal night

Woke up this morning to a report Trump once again claimed the corona virus would just disappear like magic without a vaccine; when are people going to wake up to the fact this poor excuse excuse for a human being, let alone the president, is full of shit and has absolutely no idea what he's doing? He's utterly incapable or reassuring a frightened nation. Reelecting him would be like if Captain Smith of the Titanic had somehow survived, maybe by dressing like a woman, and the White Star Line appointed him captain of their brand new luxury cruise ship because he told them the sinking of the Titanic wasn't his fault, and hey, accidents happen!
