River before me,

 in my sight,

take me to my heaven,

my solace in the night.

So long I've watched you,

your ebb and flow,

so long I've trusted you,

to show me where to go.

The tides have risen,

an angry rage,

show me,

shaman,

you were once my saving grace.

If I dare,

to dream again,

give me certainty,

oldest friend.

Take me there,

where I once dreamt,

to the greatest of secrets,

that I once kept.

The secret of you,

in splendor untold,

where freedom is boundless,

and your wisdom spun of gold.
